WHAT’S INVOLVED IN THE TRAINING
A Complete, Holistic Voice Training Programme
You’ll work through over 65 carefully designed exercises focused on developing the voice as a whole. This approach addresses the full vocal system and is suitable whether you’re starting out or refining an already capable voice.
Clear Structure, No Guesswork
The programme follows a logical, progressive structure. Each stage builds on the last, so you always know what you’re doing, why you’re doing it, and what to focus on next.
Progress at Your Own Pace
You follow a clear path, but you decide the speed. Move forward when you’re ready. Progress is cumulative, not rushed, and designed to support long-term change rather than short-term performance.
Eight Weeks to Build a Lasting Habit
The eight-week structure is designed to establish consistency and discipline, aligning with well-established principles of habit formation. This allows new behaviours to stabilise and real change to take hold, with a focus on sustainable progress rather than quick fixes.
Foundational Voice Training
This work focuses on the foundations beneath the surface. Strength, clarity, presence, authority, and impact all stem from here. When the foundations are solid, everything above them improves naturally.

WHY THIS WORK EXISTS
There was a point when my voice stopped working reliably in everyday life. Under prolonged physical stress and work pressure, I became hyper-aware of how I communicated and increasingly hesitant to speak, even with people close to me.
What changed things was returning to the fundamentals. I began working consistently with breathwork, body alignment, posture, and techniques that supported my body and voice as a whole instrument. As my body became more settled and supported, my voice began to change. Clarity improved, effort reduced, and confidence followed, not only vocally, but in my self-esteem.
That shift opened unexpected doors. It was through this work that I later moved into acting, where I saw firsthand how foundational voice training is to communication, far beyond singing or performance. That was 20 years ago.
Everything I teach now is built on that understanding, those practices, and that training. When the vocal instrument (the body) is maintained and trained optimally, the voice becomes clearer, more resonant, and easier to use. This programme focuses on those foundations, supporting lasting confidence and control in everyday communication.
Practical, Real-World Application
This work has been used by professionals who rely on their voice, including actors, singers, educators, and speakers. Rather than memorising body language, you develop body confidence that supports the voice automatically.
A Human-Led, Proven System
Every exercise is taught and demonstrated by a voice practitioner with over 30 years of real-world experience. The work is grounded, tested, and led by example.
Wellbeing Benefits
As tension reduces and the voice becomes easier to use, students often notice improved physical relaxation, clearer thinking, and greater self-assurance.
FAQs
WILL THIS ACTUALLY WORK FOR ME?
1
This work doesn’t rely on talent, confidence, or self-belief. I’m not in the business of selling dreams.
Voice training is physical. When trained with consistent, structured practice, it develops reliable support for your thoughts through the words you speak. As the voice stabilises, clarity improves, effort reduces, and speaking becomes more dependable under pressure.
That change is something you can hear and feel.
WHAT IF I’M ANXIOUS, OVERTHINK, OR DON’T FEEL CONFIDENT ENOUGH?
2
You don’t need confidence to begin this work. It’s designed so the benefits build gradually over time.
In the same way anxiety can grow through overthinking, voice work counterbalances this by restoring bodily support and clarity. As the voice stabilises, mental noise reduces, and anxiety has less influence over how you speak.
Confidence then becomes part of how you speak, not something you try to access.
WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE THE TIME?
3
Real change doesn’t happen overnight. Many programmes suggest you can make meaningful progress in a matter of days. You can’t.
Eight weeks is the minimum recommended period required to create lasting change. That’s because new habits take time to form, and consistent training allows those changes to stabilise rather than fade.
Like any form of training, the gains stay, but ease and confidence deepen through regular use. This programme is designed for people who want lasting change, not quick fixes.
IS THIS WORTH THE INVESTMENT?
4
Communication is one of the few skills that affects every area of life: work, relationships, confidence, and how you’re perceived by others.
This programme isn’t content you consume once and forget. It’s a structured training system you can return to whenever your voice feels strained, unclear, or unreliable.
Because the work focuses on foundations, the benefits carry across situations rather than being tied to a single context. Over time, it becomes a tool you use, not something you outgrow.
WHY TECHNIQUE ALONE DOESN’T FIX THE PROBLEM
Many people are told to “speak from the diaphragm”, project more, speak louder, slow down, or push through their nerves. Very few are ever shown how to restore the voice’s actual function, or how the rest of the body supports it in real, practical terms.
Your voice and body work together as a single instrument.
When that instrument is not working properly, speaking becomes effortful. Words lose clarity. Energy drops. Authority has to be forced.
Speaking becomes clearer, steadier, and more controlled. Presence and authority stop being something you try to manufacture and start becoming natural. You feel calmer, more settled, and more focused when you speak, whether at work, at home, or in social situations.
This programme focuses on rebuilding that foundation.
Not by adding more techniques to think about, but by stripping away what is no longer serving you and establishing simple physical habits that support and strengthen the voice at its source.
As those habits take hold, the voice stabilises. Effort drops away. Confidence follows.
This is a structured starting point for developing a clear, impactful voice that supports you rather than holds you back.
Programme Structure - The 8-Week Outline
Each week focuses on a specific layer of the vocal instrument, developed in a deliberate sequence.
WEEK ONE - BREATHING
Breath is not only fundamental to life, it is fundamental to the voice, because without air we cannot speak. And if we are unable to use this power source effectively, our vocal clarity, energy and resonance will inevitably be flat, dull and weak. In Week One you will learn new practices and begin developing healthy habits that help you inhabit this essential foundation of great speaking.
WEEK TWO - FOUNDATIONS
Your foundation comes from the supporting muscles that hold you together. Strengthening these areas helps create an instrument that promotes healthy breathing, aligned posture and reliable vocal strength. This is the focus of Week Two, where you will begin introducing core stability and support into your voice work.
WEEK THREE - RELAXATION
To be a fully present and engaging speaker, you need to release unnecessary tension. Stress and anxiety often accumulate as physical tightness, and physical tension in turn feeds stress. This cycle restricts your voice, suppressing its natural richness and resonance.
In Week Three we focus on calming the nervous system and releasing the unwanted tension that limits your sound. These exercises support clearer, freer speaking and often contribute to better sleep and overall ease in the body.
WEEK FOUR - POSTURE
Now we begin to get into the deeper work. Your body’s alignment is a key part of understanding how your daily ergonomics and habits may be supporting or undermining your voice. In Week Four you will practise techniques designed to realign your body so your instrument (body) can produce sound more efficiently and with far less effort. This is about allowing your voice to function as it was meant to, without unnecessary strain.
WEEK FIVE - RESONANCE
When people talk about deeper or more authoritative voices, what they are really referring to is resonance. Resonance is the body’s ability to amplify sound. Like a speaker, size plays a part, but quality, freedom and internal dynamics matter far more.
With the work you have completed so far, you will be much closer to unlocking a more natural, healthy resonance that gives your voice greater gravitas and weight without forcing or strain.
WEEK SIX - PROJECTION
For some people, raising their voice can be challenging. You may feel physically restricted, or you may feel hesitant or unable to speak up. In Week Six you will learn a safe and effective approach to vocal projection. This allows you to be heard without strain and to cut through noise or busy environments with clarity and confidence.
WEEK SEVEN - LENGTHENING
By now you will have started to notice key changes in how you feel, sound and understand your voice. In Week Seven we take this a step further by introducing work that focuses on length and space in the body. These movements help create freedom, ease and better overall function, allowing your voice to move through a more open and responsive physical frame.
WEEK EIGHT - ARTICULATION
Finally, we turn sound into words. Until now the focus has been on your vocal instrument, which makes up most of the real work. The final stage is how that sound is shaped and delivered. In Week Eight we focus on clarity of speech, refining how your voice is formed and expressed. This is the finishing layer that brings all your training together.
